<7> The paper has shown that the repository where an Open Source project is hosted plays a major part in its future success. For the first time the transition from a standard to a renowned Open Source repository has been confirmed to have a measurable effect on the resulting applied effort. This work represents one of the key results obtained during the CALIBRE Coordination Action (Project Number: IST-004337), a Network of Excellence.
