Additional information
<20> The paper is one of few practical studies that have developed methods for analysing user blogs to conceptualise how users’ privacy is violated by data-tracking and behaviour surveillance via online marketing tools. The key contribution is an analytical framework that characterises different qualitative aspects of a major breach of privacy via social networking in order to develop guidance on how to design privacy-friendly systems.
